Yosemite with the Bankheads

In early August we headed up to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. Our friends the Bankheads braved the wilderness with two kids and taught us some tricks to camping with munchkins. We had some great hikes and gorgeous views.

More NYC

After the wedding we had so much fun hanging out in the city. Sydney had lots of adventures. She fed the pigeons and jammed with musicians in central park. She rode the subway, had mass in St. Patricks Cathedral and walked the red carpet. She met up with best bud Evan at the Waldorf, swam in a roof top pool, constantly raided the mini bar and much much more.

Paul&Alison tie the knot

After Carey left, Pete and many other Johnson's flew in for Paul's wedding in the Manhattan temple.

We had a blast at the reception watching the happy newlyweds and shakin' it on the dance floor of the Central Park boat house.

Little Girls and the Big Apple

Sydney and I met up in NYC with one of my best friends, Carey and her daughter, Clayre who is the same age as Syd. We painted the town red.
We stayed in a swanky hotel and had dinner at Isabellas




We went on walks in Central park

and went the zoo



We had so much fun, it was hard to say goodbye when they had to leave. Thanks for meeting up with us Payne girls!

Daddy's girl

I love seeing these two buddies together. Sydney adores her father and loves every moment they spend together. It's so fun watching Pete be a dad.

Family Fun

We spent the first part of July in Utah visiting family. We started out at Lake Powell with the Johnsons and Sydney loved all the attention from her cousins. We spent a lot of time on the ski boats, hunting for lizards, having marshmellow fights and just relaxing.



Then we got to spend some time with the Prina's. Here are a few shots of Syd with one of her best buds, cousin Emily.

Lazy Saturday

We have been so busy lately, so when we found ourselves with an open Saturday we decided to take it slow. We started at the tide pools in Half Moon Bay with star fish and sea anemone. I love how nervous Syd looks with the star fish!



Then we drove up past the city to the Italian street painting fair in San Rafael. We saw some really impressive artists and hung out downtown.


We ended the day at Greyhound beach with beautiful views.
