Weekend on the Coast

We got to spend time in Bolinas with some of our favorite people the Tanners and Petersons. With three two-year olds and two new-borns we didn't get a lot of sleep, but had a lot of fun.

Trick or Treat

Sydney was a furry little white rabbit for Halloween and she was old enough to get the concept this year-she is now a big fan of candy.

I was so proud of Sydney. When I cut open the pumpkin and showed her how to scoop out the seeds, I was afraid she might be squeamish about pumpkin guts, but she dove right in.up to her pudgy elbows in goop

Perry Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time picking out our pumpkins this year. Sydney went wild at the farm and really got into all the fun.
She loved the maze and kept sneaking off to go through again

Gracie was smaller than most of the pumpkins, but was not intimidated.

Little Buddies

These two are so sweet together! Gracie loves to watch Sydney and Syd loves to put on a show. Sydney also loves looking out for her little sister. Pete and I get such a kick out of watching them interact.

We camped just off the coast last weekend for GGs first time. She did great and slept in the same Halloween costume Syd wore her first time camping. The pea pod is the best infant sleeping bag ever-who knew?

Indian Summer

After a fairly cool summer we finally got the hot weather we wanted at the end of September and spent almost every day at the pool for a week. Here are my bathing beauties:

GG's Blessing

We decided to bless Grace in Utah while we were there so both of our families could attend. It was so neat to have our parents and so many of our siblings there. We had a lunch with our families after and Grace got the most attention she has ever received. She loved it and smiled at everyone. Here are some pics of our little angel.

Whirlwind trip to Utah

We were in Utah over labor day for another trip that was just way too short. I think this pic of Pete manning four little girls on the swing-set represents our whole trip-trying to do it all. We always wish we had a little more time to spend with both of our families. We packed in the fun, spending almost the whole time up in Logan, mostly at the pool and the pond. What a great trip!

Girls Trip

I have really fun friends. I was able to get a bunch of them to come with me on a girls only rafting trip at the end of August. We had a blast. We got wet, hyper, cold, splashed, almost got lost and tipped over, we talked, laughed and hit lots of roadkill. It was epic and we may just have to make it a tradition.
